Head above em'

2007-02-11

When walkin in the  hills, it's always a good idea to know what direction your destination is.  You may be facing a huge mountain with many dangerous obsticles, or all you need to do is hop on a log and ride the current of the river down to your familiar grounds.  All of us face this situation in life..... Some have to climb and work so hard to get their comfortable habitat, and some others will follow a trail that many others have followed before.  So which way would you prefer?  Do you accept the chalenge and climb to your choosen habitat,..... or do you just follow the same path that all animals have traveled?  ........................... A little hunting tip for you folks that may want to get ahead of the "Game", you should always be above your target (in some degree) for the best chance of successfully obtaining your trophy.  So,  (1)- follow the contours of the land and hope to find your target, or, (2) head straight up the steep hill with confidence to your destination, where you will be able to watch your trophy target walk up the same trail you created......This works every time..... You will find where you want to be if you know which trail to take.... Take the worn down one that everybody else has, or cut straight through the timber to beat them there.

Floods or Foe?

2007-02-04

Water can reflect our hardships almost exactly.  The normal flow keeps us content through the season but then when we are not expecting it a flash flood will come and wash everything down and disorganize our whole lives.  Some people will get swept away in the flow and not be able to recover, the strong ones will be able to swim to saftey and save lives.  The ironic "catch" is that the 100 year flood that just messed everything up, still has a 1 in 100 chance of doing the same thing the very next day.  My advise........Swim as hard as you can to get back on land, grab a hold tightly to the ones who may not be as strong as you and climb.  Climb as high as you can to establish a terrace of safety from the floods in life.

Da Bears?

2007-02-03

Bears definitely have the stomach for Colts, but as long as the Colts have a  chance to start running full speed before the Bears can dig in their deadly claws...da Bears will never catch up.  Who do you think will survive?

Cool off

2007-02-02

When you think about it, this cold weather (0 - 15 degrees) is just a great big refreshing breath of air.  All but the ones who freeze can breath in this clean fresh air and refresh your senses.  Oh yeah... you will need a big warm coat.  This coat can be your personal surroundings that keep you warm.
